Poulsbo

A beautiful Viking town that rests on Liberty Bay with several marinas . It's the smallest of the four cities in Kitsap County. Historic downtown's Scandinavian theme honors the city's  heritage. This charming and friendly community is a popular regional tourist destination.

Prospects

A suburb for Seattle, Poulsbo offers a dense suburban experience. Many parents sing the praises of the schools and hail it as a wonderful place to raise families.  Others proclaim it a great place to retire. Developers continue to grow and expands liveable areas in the town.

 An amazing small-town feel with big-city amenities. Poulsbo has serveral good bars and restuarants, many more than one might expect for such a small town. Several with waterside dining. It also has a nice  handful of private art galleries, botiques and public museums. A cute town with busy nightlife and surplus of fun local activities.

Mobility

Poulsbo residents can hop a short ferry ride from Bainbridge Island and be in downtown Seattle in just an hour. Quick access to nearby Silverdale and Tacoma. Kitsap Transit has bus service to most oulying areas. And there are many private car service and shuttle companies that make rounds to local and SeaTac Ariport.

Outdoor Life

Poulsbo enjoys waterfront views and the surrounding mountains. Boating, fishing and watersports. Beautiful parks and city walking and biking trails. It's location is centralized to neaby mountains, national and state parks and forests plus the ocean.

Climate

 The summers are short, comfortable, dry, and partly cloudy and the winters are mildly cold, wet, and mostly cloudy. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 37°F to 76°F and is rarely below 28°F or above 86°F.
