The largest city on Kitsap Peninsula with many family-friendly neighborhoods. Home to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and the Bremerton Annex of Naval Base Kitsap. A small but growing arts and food scene scattered throughout Bremerton. Neraby cities like Seattle and Tacoma offer more vibrant nightlife, cuisine and entertainment choices. But other smaller, adjacent towns also offer local favorites.
Mobility
A commuter community with short commutes to the surrounding cities of Poulsbo, Silverdale, Gig Harbor, and Tacoma. Just 15 miles and an hour ferry ride away from Seattle. The area has a strong regional transit system.
Outdoor Life
The city has many beautiful views of scenic shorelines, city parks, and green spaces. The Olympic mountains are about an hour away. Surround by great, nearby camping and hiking. Other outdoor activities a short road trip away.

Similar to neighboring cities. Bremertons has a Mediterranean climate with warm dry summers and wet semi-mild winter. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 35°F to 76°F..
